As a follow up to our discussion during a recent meeting of our Catholic Study Group I thought it would be good to highlight two closely related Bible apps, the Logos Bible Study app and the Verbum Catholic Bible Study app, both from FaithLife Corporation and both free. The Verbum app is a rebranding of the Logos app for Catholics and includes some different resources.
The free Logos app has 56 books in its library, mostly bibles for both Catholics and Protestants, the Verbum app has a specific focus on Catholic bible study and has 85 books in its library, but fewer bibles. Both use the same user interface. Both offer the Douay Rheims (Challoner revision) and the Revised Standard Revision, Catholic Edition bibles.
I suggest that you get the Logos app if you’ll be mainly doing bible reading with your smartphone and would like to consult a number of different translations. Get the Verbum app if you’ll be doing some heavier studying on your smartphone, and with a Catholic emphasis.

For online Bible study with the Verbum app, click here: https://app.verbum.com/. The free online version of the app has 95 books in its collection and seems to be a subset of the Logos online.
Both online apps will accept the same Logos user account credentials.
