The Third Commandment: Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 

“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work.”

Exodus 20:8-10

The priest’s traditional offertory prayer gave us one more reason to attend Mass on Sunday: the Sacrifice was offered for “all here present”, even if one did not receive Holy Communion.
