As seen from my home in Guam, Venus and Jupiter in a conjunction event in the western sky after sunset on June 30, 2015. Some say a similar event could explain the “Star of Bethlehem“.

i saw a documentary about this while randomly flipping channels when i was on guam several years ago–naturally, it was during Christmastime. they used some common star-mapping astronomy software to back up their theories. i found that documentary on youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGUlWa2r-bk
